Terms and Conditions of Use
These terms explain how Placr services may be used across our CV tools, job marketplace pages, and employer or agency-facing platforms.
By accessing or using Placr, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What Placr provides
Placr offers digital services that may include CV creation tools, profile hosting, worker and job marketplace features, employer and agency tools, learning resources, and related support services.
2. Acceptable use
- You must provide truthful and lawful information when creating a profile, CV, listing, or account.
- You may not impersonate another person, company, or organisation.
- You may not upload unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or infringing material.
- You may not use Placr to spam, scrape, abuse, or disrupt the platform or other users.
3. Accounts and security
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our own fault.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, inactive in a harmful way, or in breach of these terms.
4. CVs, profiles, and listings
- You remain responsible for the accuracy of information placed on a CV, profile, listing, or application document.
- Placr tools are designed to assist with formatting and presentation, but we do not guarantee employment, interviews, shortlisting, or placement outcomes.
- ATS-friendly formatting or compatibility language means the documents are designed to work well with common digital recruitment workflows, not that any employer has endorsed or certified the document.
5. Payments and future paid services
- Some Placr services may currently be offered free of charge while payment systems are being finalised.
- Where paid services are introduced, the applicable price, features, and checkout terms will be shown before payment is taken.
- One-off digital products or services may be subject to the refund policy published separately.
6. Intellectual property
- Placr branding, templates, layouts, software, and platform materials remain our property or the property of our licensors.
- You retain ownership of the personal content and information you submit, subject to the permissions needed for us to operate the service.
7. Availability and changes
- We may update, improve, pause, or discontinue features at any time.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or error-free operation.
- We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised version.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Placr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, including missed opportunities, lost data, business interruption, or third-party conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Contact
If you have questions about these terms or need support regarding platform use, please contact the Placr team through the channels published on our active websites or support pages.
